I Think I'm Turning Japanese

There is so much happening all at once! I'm wrapping up my school year at St. Martin de Porres, I'm starting summer camp with Camp Galileo tomorrow, and I'm trying to make sure I'm on top of all the JET paperwork before I'm off to Kobe. It is all a lot to take in, not to mention it is very hot this weekend and I'm cranky because I miss my boyfriend. (Oh, woe is me.)

Anyway, I got the welcome letter from the CIR in Kobe, Daniel Pavey. I have a feeling I'll be contacting him a lot over the next year! There was a ton of really useful information that put my mind at east (such as where to live and how to take care of utilities and finances), but also a lot more information to take in (such as what to bring and how to get around). Luckily, I found out there are going to be 108 other JETs in the city, so not only will I not be alone, but there should be tons of support for when I have no clue what I'm doing!

This thing is very slowly becoming a reality. It's terrifying, exciting, and nerve-wracking all at once! There so much to do before I go, and I feel like 6 weeks just isn't enough to get ready!
